The Northwest Riggersare a group of
people who like to get together
and enjoy themselves on the water. We welcome both power and sailboat owners, sailors, cruisers, racers, crew, and commercial vessel operators.
Weekly Tuesdays at 5 p.m. Happy Hour prices in reserved section of restaurant – Ivars Salmon House on the northend of Lake Union. We participate in the Duck Dodge racing series on Lake Union from May to September and sponsor the Goose Bump races for 6 Sunday afternoons in January and February!
Monthly potluck on 2nd Friday hosted at members’ homes. Short business meetings.
Memorial Day, Labor Day and the Fourth of July over-night trips around Puget Sound and to San Juans.
Summer Day Sails and Weekend Trips from April to October.
Annual Brownsville Salmon BBQ is our biggest event in July and sunshine guaranteed the past 8 years, at least!
Holiday Potluck Dinners are planned for the Holiday Seasons.
Goose Bump Races are held on the last 3 Sundays during January and the 1st 3 Sundays during February, in Lk Union. Westlake West Marine will host the Awards Ceremony and party at the end of the series on Feb 19, 2012. All racers and crew are invited.
Duck Dodge Races on Lake Union are held every Tuesday during the summer. Members usually have several boats participating !
